Hello, World! My name is Joseph Cobb, and I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. With over 15 years of experience in the accounting profession, I’ve had the opportunity to serve in a variety of roles—from mutual fund accounting to public accounting firms and government audits.

I’m passionate about helping others make sense of their finances by offering clear, practical advice in the areas of accounting, tax, and audit. Whether it's navigating personal finances or managing the books for a small business, I believe sound financial guidance should be accessible and easy to understand.

Currently, I reside in Philadelphia with my family, and I’ve created this blog as a space to merge my love for writing with my professional experience. I hold a Master of Science in Accounting from Wilmington University (Go Wildcats!) and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Neumann University (Go Knights!). Everything I publish reflects my journey, my values, and the practical knowledge I've gained along the way.
